The Oxford™ chair was created by Arne Jacobsen in 1965 for the professors at St Catherine’s College in Oxford, and crafted by hand. A symbol of prestige and status, the long silhouette and press shaped veneer calls for a sense of space and privacy. 

The fully upholstered shell is available in a wide range of textile and leather types.

The base is available either with castors with aluminium housing (height adjustable with tilt mechanism) or black-grey gliders (fixed seat height with spring function), both in satin polished aluminium (standard) or polished chrome.
