Richard Schultz designed the 1966 Collection for Florence Knoll who, after retiring, was seeking outdoor furniture that could resist the corrosive Florida ocean air. This collection is considered the first modern outdoor furniture and has been the category standard ever since.
The frame is cast and extruded aluminum, finished with a weather resistant olyester powder coat.
The seating is woven vinyl coated polyester mesh.
